Flood in Saskatoon:

It started raining as Mark and I drove out of King's Tire where Mark was working on June 24 1983 and this was the depth of the water , I opened the door of Mark's 1976 Olds Cutlas Supreme to take this photo of the water just under the door in front of our house when we arrived about twenty minutes later.                             One woman died in the flood as her vehicle stalled as she drove under one of the overpasses on Idylwyld drive north that was flooded and she couldn't open her door to get out. This was the hardest rain I ever experienced in my life, but a second close was in Lloydminster, Sk. years later when I was there to help my uncle David move.
