Christmas Cactus

The Left Photograph is the best photo I ever took my most proud of photo as well. But I must admit that when I took it I did not believe it would even turn out as anything viewable. as I ignored all common known knowledge of taking a good photograph, meaning never take a picture with the sun behind the object you are photographing. but this is the result. I did have some ideas on what may help which if I remember correctly was to set the F-stop to the smallest possible size. the second photo was taken after I received the first photo from the developers. hence the drooped look of the blossom in the second photo. it was also taken with the sun behind me as usual photo's are taken. I only wish I knew for sure what exactly I did taking this first photo so I could repeat the process now for more great flower photo's. as I must say it is just so much more than the second photo. and like I said if I knew for sure any flower I'm sure could be photographed like this. if the correct location was present with the sun as well. however gone are my days of photography are done as I no longer have my 35mm slr camera I used for all my photography, coupled with my limited use of my left hand now I only wait to try my photography again with a new digital camera.
